On July 30, Xiaomi held the Pengcheng Technology Launch Event, unveiling partial powertrain specifications for the N70 Max. Positioned as a range-extended SUV, the vehicle offers two dedicated extended-range battery packs: a 52 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery. Under CLTC conditions, it achieves a maximum all-electric range of 505 km and a minimum energy consumption of 15.85 kWh per 100 km. The N70 Max features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive range-extended system, with a front motor delivering peak power of 210 kW and a rear motor delivering peak power of 100 kW. The front drive motor incorporates Xiaomi’s Super Motor technology, achieving a peak efficiency of 95.77%. It is equipped with SiC power modules, 0.2 mm silicon steel laminations, and segmented epoxy-bonded magnets, resulting in a 2.65% improvement in electric drive efficiency.
