FAW Yueyi 08 Tackles Winter Range Loss with Advanced Thermal Management

Electric vehicles face significantly reduced driving range in cold weather. In low temperatures, the viscosity of the battery electrolyte increases and lithium-ion mobility slows down, weakening discharge performance and reducing usable capacity. Additionally, cold conditions increase tire rolling resistance, and cabin heating consumes extra electricity—factors that collectively cause a substantial drop in real-world range. To address this issue, FAW’s Yueyi 08 employs advanced thermal management technology to alleviate range anxiety during winter travel.
