BYD Seagull 06 Unveiled: B-Class Coupe Starts at ¥105,000

The BYD Seagull 06 has recently made its real-world debut, positioned as a fully equipped B-segment coupe with a pre-reservation price starting from RMB 105,000. The new model continues the Ocean Network family’s fastback coupe design language, measuring 4,870 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Exterior highlights include a dynamic, closed-off front fascia, dual L-shaped headlights, sporty body cladding, and a roof-integrated LiDAR unit. It is equipped with BYD’s "God’s Eye" 5.0 intelligent driving system, supporting urban full-scenario navigation assistance. Inside, the cabin features a minimalist, wrap-around cockpit layout, with an electronic shift-by-wire system standard across all trims. Mid- and high-end variants use extensive soft-touch materials and come with power-adjustable seats featuring diamond-pattern stitching and a panoramic sunroof. The top-tier version adds a built-in car refrigerator and split-type comfort headrests. Powertrain options include both the fifth-generation DM plug-in hybrid and a pure electric variant. The PHEV model pairs a 1.5L engine delivering a maximum output of 74 kW, while the BEV version offers two single-motor configurations rated at 120 kW and 240 kW respectively.
