On August 2, M-Hero Auto announced that actress Gulnazar has become the brand ambassador for its all-new M817 model. The vehicle officially launched on June 27 and is available in five variants, priced between RMB 299,900 and RMB 399,900: Mate 1.5T PHEV (RMB 299,900), Mate+ 1.5T PHEV (RMB 329,900), Max 2.0T PHEV (RMB 349,900), Max+ 2.0T PHEV (RMB 369,900), and Ultra 2.0T PHEV (RMB 399,900). The new M817 measures 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,899 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,005 mm. All variants are equipped with plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) powertrains, featuring a 2.0T engine delivering a maximum output of 165 kW. The Pro+ and Max+ trims come with front and rear motors rated at 200 kW and 233 kW respectively, achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.2 seconds. The Ultra variant features front and rear motors producing 240 kW and 310 kW respectively, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.26 seconds. Built on an 800V high-voltage architecture, the M817 incorporates 6C ultra-fast charging technology and is equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, HarmonyOS Cockpit 6.0, and Qiankun’s 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR. In terms of range, the Pro+ and Max+ variants are fitted with a 51.9 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of 215 km and a combined range of 1,365 km. The Ultra variant features a larger 62.52 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 301 km and a combined range of 1,450 km.
