Zhijie RX Name Meaning and Specifications Revealed

Guo Rui, Chairman and CEO of Zhijie Auto, explained the naming of the Zhijie RX, stating that the "X" symbolizes innovation and breakthrough, continuing Huawei's tradition of using "X" to denote entirely new product categories—as seen in devices like the Mate X and Pura X. This marks the first time the "X" designation has been applied to an automotive product, positioning the Zhijie RX to pioneer technological and handling breakthroughs based on its flagship-level technologies. The Zhijie RX is the first X-series SUV under Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA). Featuring a coupe-style SUV design, it emphasizes a sporty character and directly competes with the Xiaomi YU7. According to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the vehicle measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,600 mm or 1,585 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Powertrain options include a rear-wheel-drive version with a 277 kW motor, while the all-wheel-drive variant adds an additional 160 kW front motor. All models come equipped with Huawei’s "Giant Whale" battery pack, offered in 81 kWh and 100 kWh capacities, delivering CLTC-rated ranges of 702 km, 753 km, and 852 km across three variants.
