Xiaomi Pengcheng Series Unveils Key Tech Specs: Flat Floor, Long Range, and Fast Charging

Xiaomi Auto recently unveiled technical details of its Pengcheng series of new vehicles. By integrating a high-density coaxial electric drive system, repositioning the battery pack control module, and optimizing fuel tank layout, the series achieves a completely flat floor from the first to the third row. The rear floor thickness measures 298 mm—approximately 200 mm thinner than that of similarly sized SUVs. In terms of ease of entry and exit, the N90 Max model offers an optional electric running board that automatically extends when the door opens, positioned just 192 mm above the ground. The vehicle features a minimum sill height of 401 mm, a rear door opening angle approaching 90°, and a minimum interior standing height of 1,233 mm. The seat slide rails are made of 7-series reinforced aluminum alloy, achieving a peel strength of up to 57,000 N. They have undergone 15,000 sliding cycles under various temperature conditions without any loosening or abnormal noise. For range configuration, the N70 Max is equipped with a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery, delivering a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 505 km. The N90 Max features a 60-liter fuel tank, offering a maximum CLTC combined range of 1,705 km and a WLTC-rated fuel consumption of 6.26 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. Regarding charging performance, the N90 Max achieves a CLTC all-electric range of 464 km and can regain up to 285 km of range within 15 minutes of charging. Among mainstream six- and seven-seat large extended-range SUVs, this model ranks among the top tier in fast-charging capability, with real-world testing showing over 99% compatibility success rate at public charging stations.
