Official images of the Dongfeng Aeolus L8+ have been officially released. The most distinctive feature of the new model’s exterior is the roof-mounted LiDAR, indicating its advanced intelligent driving assistance capabilities. The L8+ is one of four new models Dongfeng Aeolus plans to launch in the second half of this year, alongside the L8Y, L9, and E80. Positioned as “the most capable intelligent driving assistant in its class,” the L8+ aims to raise the bar for smart driving experiences among its peers. The rear design is relatively minimalist, featuring a full-width taillight strip, but it omits a two-stage roof spoiler, and the rear bumper has a more subdued contour.
