The Huawei-backed Aito V8 has recently been spotted in real-world images. The vehicle measures 5,335 mm in length, 2,005 mm in width, and 1,825 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. It features smooth, rounded lines, a gently sloping and expansive front fascia, and an elongated body profile. Dual-side electric sliding doors are fitted, while the side windows feature segmented blacked-out treatment. The D-pillar flows into a fastback-style rear end, complemented by a full-width LED light bar that echoes the design language of the front grille. The Aito V8 will be offered with both all-electric and range-extended powertrains, with batteries supplied exclusively by CATL. The BEV variant comes in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, delivering peak motor outputs of 227 kW and 387 kW respectively, and is expected to come standard with a 100 kWh ternary lithium battery pack. The range-extended version is powered by a 1.5T range extender producing 118 kW, and also offers both two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options. Its drive motors share identical specifications with those of the pure-electric model, and buyers can choose between lithium iron phosphate (LFP) or ternary lithium battery chemistries. Positioned below the Aito V9, the V8 adopts a softer design aesthetic and targets the family-oriented market segment. With an expected price around RMB 300,000, it is poised to become the volume-driving model in Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility MPV lineup.
