On August 3, Tesla Automobiles (Beijing) Co., Ltd. received an Automatic Import License for goods issued by China’s Ministry of Commerce. All relevant application procedures have been completed, and the company has officially obtained approval. This license applies to certain freely importable goods and forms part of China’s import management system—a compliance registration mechanism designed to dynamically monitor the flow and volume of imported goods and provide eligible enterprises with a streamlined import channel. The approval enables the company to complete customs clearance procedures within the scope of the license under the automatic import licensing rules, further strengthening the compliance foundation of its import operations.
