Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (ended June 30, 2026). The company reported consolidated revenue of ¥2.964 trillion, an increase of ¥257 billion year-over-year; consolidated operating profit of ¥77.9 billion, up ¥157 billion compared to the same period last year; and net profit of ¥3.8 billion, an improvement of ¥1,195 billion year-over-year. In Japan, cumulative orders for the all-new Kicks and all-new Elgrand reached 11,000 and 8,000 units, respectively. In China, Nissan focused on promoting new energy vehicles such as the N6, N7, NX8, and Frontier Pro, while accelerating its overseas expansion. The company has revised its global sales forecast for fiscal year 2026 downward from 3.3 million units to 3.15 million units, primarily reflecting changes in the Chinese market. However, Nissan reaffirmed its full-year operating profit target of ¥200 billion. The "Re:Nissan" plan continues to progress steadily, delivering an additional ¥60 billion in cost savings this quarter.
