Recently, spy photos of NIO's new mid-to-large-sized estate car—developed on the NT3.0 platform—have surfaced during road testing. The vehicle is expected to exceed 5 meters in length and feature a wheelbase over 3 meters, making it larger than the current ET5 Touring (ET5T). It retains the NT3.0 platform’s front trunk design, offering dual storage spaces at both ends of the cabin. The car is equipped with advanced intelligent driving hardware, including three LiDAR units, a 4D imaging millimeter-wave radar, and multiple 8-megapixel high-definition onboard cameras. It runs on NIO’s self-developed Shengji NX9031 chip, delivering a single-chip computing power of 1,000 TOPS. In terms of comfort features, the entire lineup comes standard with an onboard refrigerator, ventilated/heated/massaging seats, an AR-HUD (augmented reality head-up display), and a premium audio system. Built on the NT3.0 platform’s native 900V high-voltage architecture, the vehicle supports ultra-fast charging at up to 5C rates—adding over 250 kilometers of range in just five minutes—and retains NIO’s battery swap capability, with each swap taking approximately three minutes. The estimated starting price is around RMB 350,000. With NIO’s Battery as a Service (BaaS) subscription option, the purchase price could be reduced to approximately RMB 250,000.
