On August 7, Li Bin, founder of NIO, revealed on social media that NIO's battery swap service is about to surpass 120 million swaps, with just over 3,000 swaps remaining to reach the milestone. On the same day, NIO launched its 4,000th battery swap station—and its first fifth-generation station—in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. This station supports battery swaps for users of three brands: NIO, Onvo, and Firefly.
