Since BYD unveiled its Flash Charge technology on March 5, the construction of Flash Charge stations has accelerated significantly. As of the end of June, over 7,000 Flash Charge stations have been built and put into operation. BYD plans to build 20,000 Flash Charge stations by the end of this year. In addition to rapidly deploying stations by installing energy storage cabinets at third-party sites, the company has also signed a cooperation agreement with Sinopec to jointly advance Flash Charge station development. As of August 6, Sinopec-operated Flash Charge stations have already entered service in multiple regions across southern China. On the same day, a Sinopec gas station located at No. 1209 Huqingping Highway ceased its fuel operations and was upgraded into a BYD Flash Charge flagship station. Additionally, the first Flash Charge flagship station in East China opened next to the Hongqiao Transportation Hub.
