Indian automaker Mahindra announced on Wednesday a feature upgrade for the Scorpio-N, adding new technology, safety, and convenience features while retaining its existing petrol and diesel powertrains. Since its launch in 2022, the Scorpio-N has累计 sold over 380,000 units. The updated model introduces several new features, including a panoramic sunroof (Skyroof), a 540-degree surround-view camera with blind-spot monitoring, 18-inch precision-cut alloy wheels, a 31.24-cm floating HD touchscreen infotainment system equipped with six physical shortcut buttons, and a 26.03-cm HD digital instrument cluster that supports full-screen navigation and three display modes. Additional new features include a 65W USB Type-C fast-charging port for front passengers and an “Adventure Data” display showing engine performance metrics, vehicle roll and pitch angles, compass, altimeter, and G-force readings. Alongside this update, Mahindra has revised the Scorpio-N’s trim lineup and pricing. The SUV now starts at ₹136,900 (approximately RMB 117,000 excluding taxes) for the base Z2 petrol manual variant, while the top-end Z8L (ADAS) diesel automatic 4WD variant is priced at ₹254,900 (approximately RMB 218,000 excluding taxes). Powertrain options remain unchanged, with the Scorpio-N continuing to offer the mStallion G20 turbocharged petrol engine and the mHawk D22 diesel engine, available in both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. Higher trims come equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 12-speaker Sony audio system, ventilated front seats, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, electronic parking brake, and leather upholstery. Over the past few years, the Scorpio-N has received multiple incremental updates, including the introduction of the Z8 Select variant in 2024, the addition of the Z8T variant in 2025, and the integration of Level 2 ADAS.
