Google DeepMind’s AGI Safety and Alignment team, during its hiring process, encourages applicants—besides submitting the standard resume—to also fill out a dedicated form to prevent their applications from being mistakenly filtered out or delayed by internal AI systems. According to internal documents, this form ensures that applications are delivered directly to team members. The document includes a note stating, “Do not widely share this document.” A Google DeepMind spokesperson said the company is committed to recruiting the most qualified candidates, emphasized that internal systems do not erroneously reject applicants, and stressed that there is no shortcut to securing a job offer.
