Changan Unveils Fourth-Gen CS55 PLUS with Blue Whale Super Powertrain – Launching August 18

Changan Automobile unveiled official images of the fourth-generation CS55 PLUS with Blue Whale Super Hybrid powertrain on August 12, announcing that the new model will launch on August 18. The vehicle features the brand’s latest family design language and is equipped with the Blue Whale Super Hybrid technology. It measures 4,550 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width, 1,675 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,656 mm. Inside, the cabin adopts an enveloping, through-type cockpit layout and features a dual-screen Star Ring Smart Cockpit display. The front passenger seat is a "Queen Seat" with an 8-point massage function. The Blue Whale Super Hybrid system combines a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum output of 110 kW. The system integrates a 500-bar ultra-high-pressure direct-injection hybrid engine, a high-flux high-power hybrid electric drive, a high-performance and high-safety battery, and AI cloud-based intelligent control, forming a deeply electrified, intelligent hybrid system that requires no external charging.
