Sodium-ion Battery Swap-enabled Tractor Co-developed by HiNa Battery and FAW Jiefang Listed in MIIT Product Announcement

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released Announcement No. 410 of "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," which includes a sodium-ion battery swap-enabled tractor jointly developed by HiNa Battery Technology and FAW Jiefang. This model marks FAW Jiefang's first heavy-duty truck equipped with sodium-ion traction batteries. Under current policy, sodium-ion batteries will be exempt from consumption tax starting September 1, 2026.
