Huawei Launches AIPL Partner Program to Advance Smart Education Ecosystem

On August 7, Huawei launched the "AI Practice Lab (AIPL) Baseline Partner Program" at its Bantian campus in Shenzhen. The initiative aims to deepen industry-education integration and advance the application of AI technologies in education. The event drew participation from dozens of national education informatization service providers and institutional solution partners, with related ecosystem achievements set to be showcased globally at Huawei Connect 2026 in September. Du Min, President of Huawei’s Higher Education Business Group, and Yang Chen, Director of Partner Development for Huawei’s Public Sector Business Group, attended the launch ceremony. At the event, Huawei introduced its "1+X+N" partner framework, centered on building a computing infrastructure powered by Ascend computing capabilities and the AIPL enabling platform to support AI hands-on teaching. Baseline partners will integrate cutting-edge AI practice cases to co-develop open and shared AI practice course resources, while integrated operation partners will drive solution implementation and ongoing operations, bringing “real-world scenarios, real data, and real algorithms” into campuses. Du Min stated that this program represents a key step in Huawei’s efforts to foster industry-education collaboration, aiming to work with partners across the ecosystem to create replicable and scalable AI practice teaching solutions.
