Wuling Xingguang 730 Tops Domestic MPV Sales with Over 40,000 Units Sold Jan–Jul

On August 12, Wuling’s Silver Label announced that the Xingguang 730—a large seven-seater MPV—has achieved cumulative sales exceeding 40,000 units from January to July 2025, ranking first among domestic-brand MPVs in sales volume. The model was launched in November 2024 and initially offered four variants: a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) with 125 km of electric range in Luxury trim, a BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) with 500 km range in Luxury trim, a 1.5T gasoline-powered CVT Elite model, and a 1.5T 6MT Comfort model. Its official manufacturer-suggested retail price ranges from RMB 73,000 to RMB 109,800, or RMB 71,000 to RMB 105,800 after trade-in subsidies. The Xingguang 730 is available in four exterior colors: Misty Grey, Frost White, Obsidian Black, and Dusk Mountain Purple. Its body features BASF 2K clear coat applied through an eight-layer process. The vehicle measures 4,910 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,770 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,910 mm. It adopts a “2+2+3” seating layout, offering an effective interior cabin length of 3,331 mm, a transverse wide-body design spanning 1,500 mm, and a generous 1,780 mm of space between the second- and third-row seats. Rear cabin space utilization reaches 88%. The vehicle is equipped with power-sliding side doors featuring concealed tracks, a door opening height of 1,145 mm, light-touch automatic opening/closing functionality, and B-pillar assist handles.
