Kia's All-New Seltos Launches with Pre-Sale Starting at ¥80,900

Kia has launched the pre-sale of its all-new Seltos on August 13, offering six trim levels: 1.5L Comfort, 1.5L Luxury, 1.5L Premium, 1.5T Luxury, 1.5T Premium X-Line, and 1.5T Premium Luxe X-Line. The limited-time pre-sale price ranges from RMB 80,900 to RMB 120,900. Measuring 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,640 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm, the new Seltos is built on Kia’s third-generation global i-GMP platform. It offers two powertrain options: a 1.5L engine paired with an IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission) and a 1.5T turbocharged engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. All variants come standard with Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), a 27-inch ultra-slim widescreen display, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P chip, supporting seamless smartphone connectivity via HiCar, CarPlay, and Carlink. The front seats feature dual-zone voice control with wake-word-free operation, continuous conversation capability, and “see-it-say-it” functionality. The vehicle also integrates Baidu’s “ERNIE Bot” AI assistant, enabling natural-language Q&A, AI-powered creative drawing, and intelligent vehicle manual queries. Additionally, it includes an in-car KTV entertainment mode with dual microphones and synchronized singing for both front and rear passengers, complemented by eight Bose speakers and zone-based audio pickup. The trunk offers 483 liters of cargo space, equipped with 20 storage slots and four hooks. With interior dimensions of 929 mm in length and 1,060 mm in width, the cargo area expands to 1,454 liters when the rear seats are fully folded down.
