Recently, a domestically produced all-electric Mercedes-Benz GLC was struck from behind by a large truck reversing at a highway entrance, causing severe damage to the front of the vehicle. According to the assessment by the authorized 4S dealership, total repair costs amount to RMB 46,094, including RMB 9,200 for the front wheel rim, RMB 8,151 for the front bumper, RMB 6,025 for the left front fender, and RMB 3,627 for the illuminated grille. The vehicle was delivered on July 22, 2024, with an out-the-door price of RMB 360,000, and the accident occurred less than one month after purchase. The domestically produced all-electric GLC was officially launched on July 8, 2024, with a starting manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of RMB 339,800 for the launch edition. It measures 4,949 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,027 mm. It is equipped with an 85.5 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, offering a maximum CLTC-rated range of 703 km and supporting fast charging from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes.
