On August 13, Voyah Auto announced that its Zhui Guang S model successfully completed a 360° tunnel loop challenge in a closed test tunnel in Wuhan, becoming the world’s first unmodified production vehicle to achieve this feat without any stunt-specific modifications. The entire challenge was captured with real-time footage of the actual vehicle, which entered the curved tunnel wall at a critical speed of approximately 130 km/h and a steering angle of 16°, relying on centrifugal force to complete a full 360-degree rotation. During the inverted apex phase, speed deviation was maintained within a tight range of 3–5 km/h. The Zhui Guang S is a mid-to-large-sized FUV (Family Utility Vehicle) with a relatively high curb weight and no weight-reduction modifications. Its dimensions exceed those of the lightweight supercar Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, which previously performed a similar maneuver. Key hardware features include Voyah’s fully in-house developed "Hu Ju" chassis D platform, an all-aluminum double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, 10 integrated functional aerodynamic ducts, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined output of 475 kW and peak torque of 765 N·m. Pre-sales for the Zhui Guang S commenced in early August, with the top-trim variant priced at RMB 309,900. Within less than an hour of opening pre-orders, over 10,000 units were reserved. The official market launch and final pricing will be announced on August 15.
