The Buick GL8 Lushang officially launched today, offering two trim levels with a limited-time launch price starting at RMB 229,900. The new model is equipped with a next-generation plug-in hybrid powertrain delivering a combined output of 275 kW and peak torque of 560 N·m, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in the 7-second range. It boasts a CLTC all-electric range of 142 km, a total combined range of up to 1,500 km, a WLTC combined fuel consumption of just 1.24 L/100 km, and a fuel consumption of 6.35 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. Measuring 5,219 mm long, 1,878 mm wide, and 1,807 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,088 mm, the vehicle achieves an interior space utilization rate of 80% and offers a maximum cargo capacity of 1,650 liters when the rear seats are folded. The cabin features an optional orange-themed interior, seats crafted with diamond-quilted stitching using breathable materials, and side bolster support improved by 10%. The vehicle also includes a 3.3 kW external power supply function.
