On August 13, Changan Automobile and Honor announced a strategic partnership and unveiled their "Joint Innovation Open Lab." Honor's CarLink feature is already integrated into 21 of Changan’s core vehicle models. The all-new Deepal S05 will debut with Honor CarLink 3.0, supporting both smartphone screen mirroring and a unified app list projection between the phone and vehicle infotainment system. The interface can seamlessly switch between floating window and full-screen modes based on driving scenarios—displaying navigation in a small window while driving and enabling one-touch full-screen video playback when parked. For the first time, the two companies have established an end-to-end cross-device voice interaction control chain: in connected mode, users can activate the vehicle’s voice assistant to execute commands from smartphone apps. According to disclosures, Changan and Honor formed a joint development team in March 2023, launched Honor CarLink 1.0—the industry’s first—in October 2024, and will roll out Honor CarLink 2.0 with the mass production launch of the Deepal S05 in May 2025. By October 2025, Changan Automobile is set to be recognized as an Honor Gold Partner.
