On August 13, American automotive brand Karma announced that deliveries of its next-generation luxury coupe, the Gyesera, will commence to U.S. dealers in December this year, with a starting price of $139,995. The vehicle features a high-strength aluminum space frame and carbon fiber-reinforced composite body panels. It is powered by Karma’s latest range-extended electric powertrain, internally designated HRL15665, which delivers a maximum output of 422 kW and peak torque of 740 N·m, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 96.6 km/h in under 3.7 seconds. As a four-seat grand tourer, the Gyesera is now open for orders and marks the first model in Karma’s new generation of range-extended vehicles. Also unveiled at the same event were the Amarisa GT, a two-door grand tourer slated for launch in Q4 2027, and the Kaveya hypercar, expected to hit the market in Q1 2028 with an estimated starting price of around $400,000. The Kaveya will feature butterfly doors, produce over 746 kW of maximum power, and is poised to become the first production road car equipped with Factorial Energy’s FEST solid-state battery technology.
