On the evening of August 13, DeepSeek officially released the final version of DeepSeek V4 Pro, nearly a month behind its original schedule. On the same day, DeepSeek adjusted its API pricing strategy by introducing peak and off-peak pricing. During peak hours, DeepSeek-V4-Pro is priced at RMB 0.3 per million input tokens (cache hit), RMB 9 per million input tokens (cache miss), and RMB 27 per million output tokens—up from previous rates of RMB 0.025 (cache hit), RMB 3 (cache miss), and RMB 6, respectively. This represents a staggering 1,100% price increase for input tokens with cache hits. Additionally, DeepSeek simultaneously launched the developer preview of DeepSeekHarness, built on an "everything-as-a-plugin" design philosophy.
