On August 14, Changan Automobile announced that the all-new Deepal G318 is set to debut, equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 Pro intelligent driving system and HarmonySpace 5 powered by HarmonyOS. The company has not yet released additional details about the new model. For reference, in March this year, Deepal introduced a new all-wheel-drive "Wilderness Edition" of the G318 priced at RMB 185,900. This variant measures 5,125 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,895 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. It features a 1.5T range-extending powertrain, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 110 kW, while the front and rear electric motors produce peak outputs of 131 kW and 185 kW, respectively. The vehicle is also equipped with a 35.07 kWh battery pack.
