Domestic Gasoline and Diesel Prices Cut Effective 24:00, August 14

According to the National Development and Reform Commission, effective at 24:00 on August 14, 2026, domestic gasoline and diesel (standard grades) prices will be reduced by RMB 230 and RMB 220 per ton, respectively. On a national average basis, the retail prices of Grade 92 gasoline, Grade 95 gasoline, and Grade 0 diesel will each decrease by RMB 0.18, RMB 0.19, and RMB 0.19 per liter, respectively. For a typical passenger car with a 50-liter fuel tank, filling up a full tank of Grade 92 gasoline will cost approximately RMB 9 less.
