The Dongfeng Mengshi X700 will make its official debut at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 21. Measuring 5,035 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,910 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm, the vehicle is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV. It offers two wheel options: 265/65R18 and 255/60R20, and supports optional features including an externally mounted spare tire, roof rails, and a 2.5-ton towing capacity. The approach and departure angles can reach up to 30° and 31° respectively, though the departure angle reduces to 26° when the optional tow hitch is installed. Powering the vehicle is a plug-in hybrid system based on an 800V platform architecture, equipped with a 68.1 kWh CATL battery pack. Mounted on the roof is an 896-line LiDAR unit, and the vehicle is expected to support Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system.
