On August 16, OpenAI announced an update to ChatGPT. Subscribers can now add Google Drive files to their ChatGPT library and directly edit documents within the chat interface. To do so, users simply click the “+” button next to the chat box and select “Add from library” to import files from Google Drive. The AI will use these files as context to answer questions, generate summaries, or edit content. Additionally, ChatGPT launched an interactive quiz tool this week that generates multiple-choice questions based on a user-specified topic. ChatGPT has also integrated with Yelp to offer restaurant reservation capabilities. Paid users can access Yelp-curated restaurant recommendations directly from the ChatGPT homepage.
