On August 16, 2024, Tesla launched a front-seat under-tray storage accessory on its U.S. website, specifically designed for the new Model Y, priced at $40. This accessory is compatible with new Model Y vehicles produced from the second half of 2025 onward, but it is not compatible with older Model Ys produced between 2020 and 2024 or the six-seat Model Y L variant. Made from injection-molded thermoplastic material and featuring a non-slip design, the tray utilizes the otherwise unused space beneath the front passenger seat to store small items and allows access from the rear footwell without occupying additional cabin space. Additionally, Tesla has recently introduced other Model Y accessories, including an expandable trunk organizer priced at $245 and a lower trunk storage organizer priced at $115, both launched in June 2024. Furthermore, select Model Y Premium vehicles in the U.S. market now support Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, which requires the Gen 3 Mobile Connector and an $80 Outlet Adapter that converts the charge port into two 120V, 20A household outlets. The system does not support Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) functionality.
