Cadillac announced it will switch to the NACS charging port for its 2027 Escalade IQ model, with other models to follow gradually. Currently, among Cadillac’s electric vehicles sold in the North American market, only the Optiq comes natively equipped with a NACS port; all other models require an adapter to use NACS chargers. The company plans to equip all future new electric vehicles with native NACS charging ports, eliminating the need for adapters.
