On August 17, BYD’s Fangchengbao brand unveiled the T7 DM Long Range variant, positioning it as a “tech-focused spacious SUV.” The official launch event is scheduled for 19:00 on August 18. The model is slated to hit the market in September 2025 and will be powered by a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. Initial offerings will include four versions: a 135 km FWD Pro, a 200 km FWD Max, a 190 km AWD Max, and a 190 km AWD Ultra, with prices starting from RMB 179,800. Back in April this year, Fangchengbao launched the T7 EV Flash Charge edition, offering two variants—the 675 km RWD Flash Charge and the 755 km RWD Flash Charge—priced from RMB 199,800. The current T7 features a “boxy” silhouette, dual-layer front headlights that illuminate into a distinctive double-L shape, and unpainted front and rear bumpers along with side skirts that contrast with the body color.
