The all-new long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV will make its global debut at the Chengdu Auto Show in 2026. Featuring an enlarged shield-shaped grille with the iconic three-pointed star emblem integrated into the daytime running lights, the vehicle will be available in five exterior colors, including Obsidian Grey and Turquoise Green. With a wheelbase of 3,115 mm, the new model offers extended and thickened rear seats equipped with seat and headrest heating, as well as multi-point massage functionality. The vehicle supports advanced driver-assistance features powered by the Momenta R6 large model, covering urban and highway driving scenarios nationwide. Following a future upgrade, it will become the first luxury gasoline-powered vehicle to feature Momenta’s R7 World Model, enabling “door-to-door” (parking-space-to-parking-space) assisted driving. Inside, the cabin features a virtual assistant powered by the Doubao AI large model and a rear-seat intelligent entertainment system capable of recommending content based on passenger status and supporting gesture-based cross-screen sharing. Under the hood, the SUV is equipped with a 3.0-liter engine, standard electric auxiliary turbocharger, and the 4MATIC on-demand all-wheel-drive system.
