Tencent Cloud today announced the establishment of its first cloud region in Johor, Malaysia, initially comprising three availability zones. This new region will be integrated into Tencent Cloud’s global network, expanding its global infrastructure footprint to 23 regions and 66 availability zones. Concurrently, Tencent Cloud unveiled AI solutions tailored for enterprise production environments and launched WorkBuddy, a desktop-level AI-native office assistant equipped with over 100 skills that support functions such as market research, data analysis, and project planning. Additionally, Tencent Cloud has partnered with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to cultivate more than 1,000 AI professionals in Malaysia.
