Qijing GX7 Five-Seater SUV Debuts Interior with Huawei's HarmonySpace 6 Cockpit

On August 19, the Qijing GX7—a spacious five-seater SUV—made its interior debut. The vehicle features an enveloping, intelligent cockpit design and, in its fully equipped configuration, boasts ten screens in total. These include Huawei’s dual 15.6-inch smart automotive displays (supporting HDR image enhancement technology), the next-generation HUAWEI XHUD augmented reality head-up display with an expansive 88-inch projection area, and the HUAWEI XSCENE 2K laser projector capable of projecting a 32-inch image inside the cabin and a 46-inch image outside. The GX7 supports NFC functionality, enabling seamless one-touch transfer of content from smartphones to the vehicle’s infotainment system. It debuts HarmonySpace 6, Huawei’s latest Harmony Cockpit, powered by an all-scenario, cross-domain intelligent cockpit agent that enables integrated interactions across navigation, food ordering, chatting, and vehicle control. The cabin also introduces “Qiqi,” a cute sable mascot avatar, and supports synchronized multi-screen interaction throughout the cabin. The GX7 offers four zero-gravity seats. The rear seats feature a reclining design, with coordinated adjustments of the seat cushion, backrest, leg rest, headrest, and dynamic side bolsters to form a fully flat 180° bed. Even when the rear seats are folded forward, the trunk can still accommodate two 20-inch suitcases. Rear legroom measures 1,096 mm, headroom is 1,070 mm, and the rear seatback reclines up to 142°. The trunk offers 868 liters of cargo space, including a 138-liter underfloor storage compartment—enough, according to the manufacturer, for five passengers and 13 suitcases. When expanded to its maximum capacity of 2,215 liters, it can reportedly fit two road bikes. Inside the cabin, a dual-side-opening车载 refrigerator with a 10-liter capacity supports wide-range temperature adjustment from -6°C to 50°C. The audio system is the HUAWEI SOUND 7.1.4 immersive surround sound setup, featuring 21 speakers. Positioned as a mid-to-large SUV priced between RMB 200,000 and RMB 350,000, certain configurations of the GX7 are available as optional upgrades.
