Cadillac, a division of General Motors, officially unveiled the V-ONE concept car on August 14 local time. Developed on the LMDh race car architecture, the V-ONE is built around the performance DNA of the Cadillac V-Series.R race car. It shares with the V-Series.R a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis, body molds, and a 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine—all manufactured by Italian firm Dallara—and meets the same safety standards as the V-Series.R, including an identical FIA-certified safety cell. The V-ONE is powered by a hybrid powertrain producing 830 horsepower, slightly simplified compared to its racing counterpart. It debuts Cadillac’s new V-Series emblem and features exclusive wheel designs, a hand-painted exterior finish, and GT3-style racing seats in the cabin. The vehicle is engineered to achieve lap times within 10% of those posted by the V-Series.R.
