BYD Han EV Launches with Pre-orders, Priced from RMB 249,900 to 299,900, Offering Up to 1,008 km CLTC Range

On August 21, 2026, BYD officially unveiled the Dynasty Network’s flagship large sedan—the Han—at the Chengdu Auto Show and launched pre-sales for its all-electric EV variant. The Han EV is offered in three configurations: the 1,008 km rear-wheel-drive Laser Radar Deluxe Edition priced at RMB 249,900; the 1,008 km rear-wheel-drive Laser Radar Flagship Edition at RMB 269,900; and the 880 km all-wheel-drive Laser Radar Flagship Edition at RMB 299,900. The Han EV measures 5,256 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,510 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm and an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.197. All trims come standard with 15 key features, including dual-chamber air suspension, flash charging, rear-wheel steering, and front-row zero-gravity seats. In terms of performance, the single-motor variant delivers a maximum output of 370 kW, while the dual-motor AWD version features a front motor rated at 200 kW and a rear motor at 370 kW. The AWD model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, reaches a top speed of 270 km/h, completes the 100–150 km/h mid-range acceleration in 3.2 seconds, and achieves a 100 km/h-to-stop braking distance of 32.83 meters. Its turning radius is 4.95 meters. Exterior highlights include the “Flying Eaves at Dawn” integrated daytime running lights, 21-inch “Landscape Mirror” alloy wheels with floating wheel emblems, and a choice of four solid paint options—Cloud Sea Beige, Verdant Mountain Green, Chi Emperor Red, and Stellar Silver—as well as four two-tone combinations. Inside, the cabin features genuine white oak wood trim, smart-tint privacy glass, and a Devialet “Amber Radiance” premium audio system with 31 speakers. For advanced driver assistance, the vehicle is equipped with the “God’s Eye B” LiDAR-based system and Yun辇-A dual-chamber air suspension.
