On August 21, CFMOTO announced the limited-time pre-sale of the 450MT Romania Champion Edition, priced at RMB 30,580. Customers who place an order will receive a complimentary set of original front and rear off-road crash bars for the 450MT, valued at RMB 598. Based on the production 450MT, this special edition features CFMOTO’s self-developed 449.5cc inline twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crankshaft and dual balance shafts. It delivers a maximum output of 32.5 kW (at 8,500 rpm), peak torque of 44 N·m (at 6,250 rpm), and a maximum horsepower of 44.2 PS. The motorcycle is equipped with KYB inverted front forks (with adjustable preload) and a centrally mounted multi-link rear suspension. Braking components include a radial-mount four-piston caliper from XiHu paired with a 320mm front disc, and a XiHu floating caliper with a 240mm rear disc. All models come standard with switchable ABS and TCS. The instrument cluster is a 5-inch curved TFT display supporting Bluetooth smartphone screen mirroring. With overall dimensions of 2,210 mm (L) × 870 mm (W) × 1,390 mm (H), a seat height of 820 mm, and a kerb weight of 185 kg for the standard version (205 kg for the three-box version), the bike has a top speed rated at 152 km/h. It sports the same championship livery worn by brand ambassador and Spanish rider Mario Román. This special edition commemorates CFMOTO’s dominant performance at the Red Bull Romaniacs Hard Enduro Rallye—a grueling event scheduled for 2026. The 23rd edition of the rally took place from July 28 to August 1 in Sibiu, Romania, featuring one day of urban obstacle time trials followed by four days of mountainous off-road racing across more than 600 kilometers. Historically, fewer than half of the competitors finish the race. CFMOTO riders swept the podiums in all three categories: Adventure Ultimate (Ultimate Class), Adventure Core (Core Class), and Adventure Lite (Lite Class). Mario Román claimed victory in the Ultimate Class with a commanding lead of 14 minutes and 40 seconds, while Chinese rider He Guishu triumphed in the Lite Class, becoming the first-ever Chinese champion in the event’s history. The 450MT has consistently held over 60% market share in Romania. Earlier, on August 10, CFMOTO presented He Guishu with his championship-winning bike in Kunming and announced plans to open the world’s first CFMOTO Champion Store in his hometown of Xuanwei, Yunnan Province.
