Recently, Gotion High-Tech held a launch ceremony at its Hefei base for the first overland shipment of batteries to Europe. A convoy of more than 30 heavy-duty trucks carrying high-performance batteries departed from Hefei and traveled via the Eurasian Land Bridge, ultimately arriving in Barcelona, Spain—a journey spanning approximately 12,800 kilometers. Some of the trucks were battery-swappable heavy-duty vehicles equipped with the “Dian Lala” mobile battery swap system, featuring modular battery packs with capacities ranging flexibly from 430 to 860 kWh and enabling rapid battery swaps in just five minutes. This marks Gotion High-Tech’s first large-scale overland delivery of battery products to the European market. In the first half of this year, the company shipped over 15 million battery cells from its Hefei base to European customers, with full-year deliveries expected to exceed 30 million units. Compared to previous sea and air freight methods, this overland route is projected to shorten delivery lead times by nearly six weeks. The convoy exited China through the Alashankou border crossing, officially inaugurating Gotion High-Tech’s China-Europe green energy logistics corridor. The company has now established a comprehensive international logistics network encompassing road, rail, sea, and air transport.
