The Beijing Off-Road Taitan 700 will officially launch on August 25. Pre-sales began on July 21, offering three variants: the Luxury Edition at a pre-sale price of RMB 299,800, the Qiankun Flagship Edition at RMB 339,800, and the Qiankun Summit Edition at RMB 389,800. The initial batch of vehicles features Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, equipped with an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR. It supports comprehensive collision-avoidance functions including AEB, RAEB, and CAS 5.0, and integrates Huawei’s Qiankun Full-Dimensional Fusion Perception System, featuring 13 front sensors, 6 side sensors, and 11 rear sensors. Positioned as a mid-to-large luxury off-road SUV, the Taitan 700 measures 5,040 mm in length, 1,959 mm in width, and 1,926 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5T Magic Core intelligent range-extending system, delivering a combined output of 391 kW and 625 N·m of torque. It is equipped with a 49.4 kWh CATL ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of 220 km and a CLTC combined range of 1,340 km. Inside, the cabin features a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 15.6-inch passenger display, and an HUD head-up display. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155/8295 automotive chips, the infotainment system supports intelligent voice interaction, Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, Yuanjing AI platform, and in-car KTV functionality. The top-tier variant adds an onboard oxygen generator and satellite communication capabilities. The audio system is specially tuned by the National Centre for the Performing Arts, supports ANC active noise cancellation and rear-seat privacy sound shielding, and includes a 21.4-inch high-definition ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers.
