On August 22, Xiaomi Auto released its "Answers to Netizens' Questions" (Episode 282), revealing that the Pengcheng series features seat sliders made of 7000-series reinforced aluminum alloy. Specifically, the N90 Max model achieves a maximum peel strength of 57,000 N for its sliders. These sliders underwent 15,000 cycles of sliding tests in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C without exhibiting any looseness or abnormal noises. The slider surfaces are covered with a rubberized layer, and the gap width is 2.5 mm, effectively blocking most foreign objects from entering. Intrusion tests involving pet hair, tissue fragments, gravel, toothpicks, coins, and similar debris confirmed that the sliders continue to operate normally. Cleaning can be performed using a vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth. The original equipment floor mats provided with the vehicle are already designed to fit around the sliders, ensuring they do not interfere with their functionality. Additionally, the Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 Max supports two "bed mode" configurations: "Rear Seats as Bed" and "Front & Rear Seats as Bed." The former creates a sleeping surface measuring approximately 1,960 × 1,270 mm, while the latter forms a bed space about 1.8 meters long by removing the front headrests and folding down the seatbacks. Users can activate either mode via the central touchscreen or through voice commands using Xiao Ai Assistant.
