Lotus Eletre 900 Gold and Emeya 900 Gold Launch on August 31

Lotus has announced that the Eletre 900 GOLD and Emeya 900 GOLD will officially launch on August 31. Both models opened for pre-orders on August 12, with starting pre-sale prices of RMB 928,000 and RMB 918,000, respectively. Both vehicles are equipped with a high-performance core handling package, which includes an interior and exterior carbon fiber extension kit, a 10-piston carbon-ceramic braking system, forged carbon fiber inset wheels, and exclusive 900 GOLD carbon fiber badges and textures. According to the manufacturer, this package enabled the Emeya—straight from the factory—to achieve a lap time of 2:20.317 at the F1 Sepang Circuit, setting a new production EV lap record for the track. The two models feature dual-chamber air suspension, CDC 48V active anti-roll bars, rear-wheel steering, and Pirelli P Zero LTS tires custom-developed exclusively for the 900 GOLD variants. They also incorporate an advanced aerodynamic suite comprising an active front air dam, active rear diffuser, active rear spoiler, and active grille shutters. Powering both vehicles is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined output of 918 horsepower and 985 Nm of torque, paired with a two-speed automatic transmission. The Emeya 900 GOLD accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds and has a top speed of 256 km/h, while the Eletre 900 GOLD achieves 0–100 km/h in 2.95 seconds and a top speed of 265 km/h.
