Ora 5 Sport and Ora 5 GT Debut at Chengdu Auto Show, Launching August 28

The Great Wall Ora 5 Sport and Ora 5 GT made their debut at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show, with official market launch scheduled for August 28. Based on the standard Ora 5, the Ora 5 Sport features a two-tone body design, exclusive front and rear bumpers, and unique alloy wheels. Inside, yellow accent stitching adorns the seats and door panels, while the dashboard is equipped with a large floating touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, and a column-mounted gear selector. The model offers three powertrain options: gasoline, hybrid, and all-electric. The gasoline variant is powered by a 1.5T engine producing 184 horsepower, while the all-electric version uses an electric motor delivering 204 horsepower. The Ora 5 GT adds red accents to the front fascia, side skirts, and other areas, complemented by sporty alloy wheels and red brake calipers, plus a prominent rear spoiler. Its interior adopts an all-black theme with sport seats featuring pronounced lateral bolstering on the seatbacks and GT-specific logos embroidered on the headrests. The vehicle is powered by an electric motor rated at 150 kW and is available with either a 45.3 kWh or 58.3 kWh battery pack, offering respective CLTC-rated ranges of 480 km and 580 km.
