On August 25, BYD announced a deep smartphone-vehicle integration partnership with Honor. The collaboration enables features such as one-tap address sharing, seamless music transfer between devices, and voice-initiated commands via WeChat’s “Scan & Go” functionality (requiring DiLink 100 or higher intelligent cockpit platform). In October 2025, Honor and BYD signed a strategic cooperation agreement centered on three key pillars: core technology implementation and feature deployment, channel ecosystem and user benefits, and joint marketing and user engagement. At the core technology level, both parties will deepen collaboration in cross-device ecosystem integration, AI Agent fusion, and high-precision Bluetooth car keys. Regarding the channel ecosystem, they will leverage Honor’s vehicle connectivity capabilities and BYD’s smart ecosystem to establish a cooperative model featuring “co-displayed products + co-managed data,” enabling platform-level mutual access to user privileges. In terms of joint marketing, the two companies will coordinate creative campaigns, co-host product launches, and jointly operate user engagement around key milestones such as vehicle and smartphone launch events. The partnership between the two companies began in 2023 with a technological breakthrough in NFC-based car key functionality, allowing BYD owners to lock and unlock their vehicles using Honor smartphones. In 2024, the collaboration expanded to include in-car fast charging scenarios. Building upon this smartphone-vehicle connectivity foundation, in 2025, the Denza brand became the first to integrate Honor’s vehicle connectivity system, with plans to gradually extend coverage across all BYD brands, enabling seamless cross-device interaction and service continuity.
