Surventis (formerly BASF’s Coatings division) and AUMOVIO Group have officially signed a strategic development and cooperation agreement. The two parties will integrate their resources to jointly advance the application of Surventis’ Chemetall-branded microstructured optical films in the automotive sector, focusing on developing innovative solutions for in-vehicle displays and head-up display (HUD) systems, and supplying related products to global customers. Surventis possesses expertise in materials science, optics, and nanoimprint technology for the design and manufacturing of microstructured optical films. Utilizing roll-to-roll nanoimprint processes, it enables high-precision replication of complex optical micro- and nanostructures over large-area substrates. AUMOVIO brings extensive technical experience in developing premium in-vehicle display and HUD solutions and integrating them into automotive systems, enabling seamless incorporation of Surventis’ technologies into cockpit environments that meet automotive industry standards and OEM requirements. Both parties have already defined specific development milestones and initial industrialization timelines.
