NIU Launches Industry’s First Large-Scale OpenHarmony Vehicle Integration Plan, Aiming for 200,000 Units by 2026

On August 28, NIU Technologies announced it has signed the "Hongtu Initiative" with Huawei Device and the GIIC Alliance, officially launching the industry's first large-scale open-source HarmonyOS vehicle integration program. The company plans to equip 200,000 vehicles with the open-source HarmonyOS by the end of 2026. The system will be widely deployed across NIU’s mainstream models, including the N, Z, and F series, covering scenarios such as navigation, safety alerts, and vehicle-to-user connectivity.
