On August 28, Nissan Formula E Team announced that Oliver Rowland and Zane Maloney will form the team’s driver lineup for the 2026/27 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship—the inaugural season of the GEN4 era. Rowland will continue with Nissan Formula E Team for a fourth season as part of his multi-year contract. Maloney will enter his third season in the all-electric championship; he has spent the past two seasons with a different team and secured top-ten finishes in São Paulo, Monaco, and Tokyo during the 2025/26 season.
