On August 29, Qijing Auto announced that the Qijing GX7 display vehicle has arrived at 60 stores across 32 cities nationwide. Positioned as a “spacious five-seater intelligent and versatile SUV,” the GX7 measures 5,099 mm in length, 2,006 mm in width, and 1,750 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,070 mm. The new model is equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, featuring four LiDAR units—including an 896-line dual-optical-path imaging-grade LiDAR—and a total of 38 sensors throughout the vehicle. It also incorporates a pre-installed L3-level full-chain redundant architecture with eight layers of redundancy. Inside the cabin, the GX7 debuts Huawei’s HarmonySpace 6 operating system, complemented by dual 15.6-inch connected screens and an 88-inch AR-HUD. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5T range-extended system combined with a triple-motor layout, delivering a combined output of 550 kW and achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in just three seconds. Battery options include two CATL packs—51.9 kWh and 67.2 kWh—offering up to 385 km of CLTC-rated all-electric range and over 1,500 km of total combined range. The vehicle supports 800V 5C ultra-fast charging. In terms of interior versatility, the GX7 highlights its “20-second one-touch flat-bed” feature: the rear seats can be fully folded flat within 20 seconds to create a level sleeping surface. It also offers four zero-gravity seats and 12 configurable interior layouts accessible via one-touch switching. Qijing is a joint brand created by GAC Group and Huawei Qiankun. Its first model, the Qijing GT7, is already on the market, with a starting official price of RMB 209,900. The Qijing GX7’s pre-sale launch event is scheduled for September 4.
