Momenta released its financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2026 (January–June 2026) on August 31, 2026. During the reporting period, the company recorded total revenue of RMB 1.602 billion, an increase of 75.9% year-over-year; gross profit reached RMB 1.173 billion, up 79.4% year-over-year; gross margin stood at 73.2%, an increase of 1.4 percentage points year-over-year; net loss for the period amounted to RMB 165.37 billion, surging 871.8% year-over-year; net cash used in operating activities totaled RMB 381 million; basic loss per share was RMB 471.8; and the asset-liability ratio reached 367%. As of the end of the reporting period, Momenta’s mass-production vehicle business had cumulatively served 26 OEM customers across 105 mass-produced vehicle models, with total installations surpassing 1 million units. Approximately 321,000 new units were installed during the reporting period, representing an 83.7% year-over-year increase. The company has commenced small-scale trial operations of its autonomous freight trucks in Suzhou and is conducting testing or operations of its robotaxis in six cities across three countries. Domestically, it has obtained operational licenses in Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, and Shenzhen; internationally, it has secured testing permits in Abu Dhabi and Germany. R&D expenses during the reporting period amounted to RMB 1.16 billion, maintaining an R&D expense ratio of 72.6%. The company plans to deploy its next-generation Momenta R7 World Model in mass-produced vehicles in Q3 2026, aims to achieve large-scale commercialization of its first autonomous freight truck model in the second half of 2026, and intends to launch its first robotaxi in Q4 2026. By year-end, Momenta expects to deploy several hundred robotaxis combined across domestic and international markets and secure operational licenses in more than 10 cities.
